Tiwnikli International Senior High School (TINASCO) during the week embarked on excursion to Parliament House of Ghana and Planetarium Science Centre. The excursion was part of efforts put in place by the school administration to augment teaching and learning.
The trip witnessed forty eight (48) students, school administration and teaching staff as early as 9: 10 am were present at the August House of Republic of Ghana. The real trip began with security screening at the entrance of the Chamber and later Miss Mary Agamah of the Public Affairs Directorate of the Parliament took the team through the parliament system and what to be expected in the chamber. After the briefing, the school was ushered into the parliamentary gallery.
As soon as the sound of “Mr. Speaker” sounded, the entire chamber was on its feet to usher in the speaker of the house. Having observed proceedings for about 20 minutes, the team was signalled to meet Miss Mary Agamah outside the chamber for further engagement.
